The New Man
April 18, 2010 –I went to Bicester Village in Oxford today. Apparently its pronounced ‘Bista’ Village, did you know that? I didnt.
Anyway, I had a lovely shopping spree and bought a few delights that you may be interested in ;) A perfectly gorgeous dark pink silk bra and panties by Myla and a saucy pair of fully fashioned stockings by Agent Provocateur. I have been asked a few times lately for these special stockings – happy to oblige!
The second thing I noticed today was that the ladies who work in AP wear pink overalls – ‘so what?’ you say. Well have a closer look, they are also wearing hold ups or stockings underneath and lovely pink fou fou slippers (like my black ones). The overalls are tight and you can almost see the delicious lingerie underneath. Not that I was staring, (and no I dont fancy girls – but it does make you look – more than once :) and you are not going to go in there perving are you? ;)
So as part of my extensive excursion today, the thrice thing I noticed was several gents actively partaking of the shopping experience with their partners. Yes. They were picking things out and helping them with all sorts of ‘shopping-helping activities’ and generally showing an interest. What on earth!! No they werent a team of personal shoppers :) Got me thinking, is this the new man we keep hearing about or have I been a lone shopper for too long?
