Marathons, Devon Chaps & Sunshine

So, I finished my London Marathon in just under 3 hours.  No not that marathon!  I went for a marathon sunday lunch today instead, and very nice it was too hehe.  Pounding the streets?, well, that doesnt really appeal to me quite frankly and besides all that, I would get two black eyes (think about it :)  I do admire them though, those runners.  26 miles! Phew!  Bravo to everyone who took part.

I have had a few visits recently from some of my fellas in the Southwest, and more to come.  Imagine that, coming all this way to see little ole me!  I am very flattered and honoured – thanks guys x

And with them they brought this stunning sunshine we have all had.  Superb. It certainly makes one feel happier, brighter and yes sunnier :)  I had my first Pimms party last night, at a friends house.  Summer isnt summer without Pimms and funnily enough I cant drink it unless the weather is good.  All psychological I know but it makes it all the more enjoyable if you only have it occassionally. (That doesnt include champagne of course as it has been proven that a lack of champagne can lead to all sorts of medical conditions like moroseness and mundanititis :)

Anyway, you will be thrilled to know that I have ordered the Pimms, the mint and the cucumber and plenty of ice. You just need to decide on one glass or two when you get here ;)
